INÉGAL RECORDS

Records made because they need to be made.

The practice

A label practice for recordings with a clear musical purpose. Sound, artwork, notes, rights and release plans are dealt with as parts of the same record.

The label group

One label structure.
Different repertoires.

INÉGAL Records is the parent label structure for a small number of artist-led releases and imprints.

Each imprint can have its own repertoire and visual language while sharing production, rights, distribution and practical support.

Our approach

01

Curate

Choose work we can stand behind after release day.

02

Craft

Give the recording, its materials and its presentation the same care.

03

Release

Put the record in front of the right listeners without changing what it is.

The release programme is small. New catalogue and partnership news is published when it is ready.
